Based on a simple structural framework, the countertop and legs were designed with a continuous, smooth radius that flows seamlessly from one to the other. Rounded forms were incorporated throughout to create a counter table intended to provide a sense of comfort both visually and tactilely.
Stained oak was used as the primary material, while brass pipes were introduced as footrests to add a distinct presence and to visualize the passage of time through their natural aging process.

Situated within a newly created relaxation area in a tax accountant’s office, the table blends with the greenery of the surrounding plants and serves to differentiate the atmosphere of the space.
