A project for an AGA/FAGA clinic opening in a tenant building located in Umeda, Osaka.

The industrial character of the existing ceiling, composed of exposed deck slabs and steel beams, was preserved as is, while newly constructed walls set at the lower edge of the main beams establish the
zoning of each room.
By allowing the raw, inorganic texture of the existing structure to coexist in contrast with the delicacy and functionality of the new interventions, the space establishes a sharp and distinctive identity as an advanced “ONESTOP HAIR CLINIC.”

The approach leading from the reception area to each treatment room gently curves, creating subtle shifts in perspective and adding spatial depth.
Tile carpet flooring was introduced throughout, while indirect lighting integrated into the reception counter softly spreads across the floor, bringing a sense of calm to the space.

For visitors, the process from the initial consultation to experiencing the effects of treatment and regaining confidence involves both physical and emotional changes that are gradual and deeply sensitive.
To spatially symbolize this internal transformation, a metal installation inspired by H-shaped steel beams was suspended above the reception counter. Through a gradient-like transition in form and light,
it creates a soft movement of shifting illumination throughout the space.
